Zulily.com is an e-commerce site that offers daily deals from major brands such as LEGO, Nike, and Le Creuset at marked-down prices. As the Visual Designer, I specialize in seasonal campaigns & special programs, as well as designing style guides, templates, and cross-channel asset suites.

Launching Zulily's integrated campigns requires communication across many different channels and stakeholders; from landing pages & emails, to social & ads, building a cohesive & branded experience is as fun as it is challenging!

Johnathan Van Ness Slay Button

In a collaboration with JVN, the Zulily PR team partnered with the Queer Eye star to create a unique holiday stocking stuffer a-la the Staples Easy Button. Keeping within the 2023 Holiday Brand Guidelines, I worked closely with channel partners to design the packaging, site treatments, and social posts for the aptly named Slay Button.

Birthday 2023

With only a month-long timeline from concepting to launch, I stuck with a classic birthday look for this quarterly sale. In line with the theme, the teaser invitation encouraged customers to "RSVP" and return to the site on the campaign's launch date, leading to the highest performing quarterly sale in the hisory of the program. This project was a fun exploration of illustration & brand colors, and opened the door to a wider discussion about where they fit in with the future of Zulily's brand.

Holiday 2022

One of Zulily's most profitable campaigns, Holiday 2022 decked the site in sparkles and gift wrap. Concepting for this project began in the summer to ensure plenty of time for integration across nearly every marketing channel. The landing page below is meant to be users' one-stop-shop for all things holiday, and was the destination for all offsite ads & social.

Black Friday / Cyber Monday 2022

What's more exciting than a good deal?? In keeping with Holiday's "sparkle and gift wrap" design styling, Black Friday / Cyber Week punches it up with the bright green & black combo, keeping the site looking cohesive as it shifted from Cyber Monday into the full-swing Holiday look.

Savings Spree Program

Zulily's quarterly sale program began as an unbranded program with each iteration having a completely different look & feel, leaving customers with an inconsistent experience every time the sale rolled around. Tasked with creating a unified design style for Zulily's massive quarterly sale program, I ran with the underutilized orange & blue from Zulily's supportive brand colors. The bright color-blocks paired with a simple circle & large discount typopgraphy served to emphasize the sale's huge savings.
